US President spend one hour in underground?

This indicates the intensity of an African-American George Floyd’s death on May 25^th. Reportedly, American President Donald Trump spent more than an hour inside the bunker in White House.

The underground bunker inside the White House was designed for use in emergencies such as terrorist attacks. Arrogant attitude and negligence in addressing the issues forced US President to hide in bunker. Trump showed the similar approach both in handling pandemic virus and in Floyd’s murder. Adding to that Trump’s tweet call all protesters as thugs provoked the violence.

From Minneapolis to Washington to Philadelphia to Atlanta the situation is similar. Protesters throw rocks and scuffle with police in agitation. On a whole, people in US are being disturbed and frustrated with back to back incidents (Coronavirus and George Floyd). US is deeply divided and super power is burning like anything. Pandemic killed more than 1 lakh people followed by bleeding of economy with lockdown and now unwanted riots across the country after the death of unarmed black man in police custody.

Floyd was suffocated to death by a police officer. At least 40 cities impose curfew after the riots. This is complete failure. President Trump went to underground and bunker when protesters burning fires and clashing with police near the White House. America’s commander-in-chief took refuge in an underground bunker. It seems entire country is up in arms against Trump administration. World human rights preacher turns to human rights violator. There’s complete breakdown of law and order. A Super power with all its fault lines exposed its moral authority and credibility fast eroding.
