New York of India in Coronavirus

When coronavirus was erupted in Wuhan in December, Milan in Italy never think of surpassing Wuhan in positive cases and in deaths as well. 

When pandemic virus reached to its peak in Milan, cases just reported in New York. United States is remains in Top both in positive cases reported and in mortality rate as well among other world nations. New York also is number one city among other cities in the world. Which city replaces or remembers New York City in India?Initially, everyone thinks of Mumbai city in India resembles New York City in United States. But Mumbai, which was on the verge of becoming India's 'New York' in Covid damage, seems fighting back. 

It seems that National Capital New Delhi is emerging to be ‘New York’ of India. Though the city is rich and well Infrastructure city, Delhi is unable to control the virus at its best. Delhi has more number of ASHA workers than any other state in India. Delhi leaves Tamil Nadu behind in terms of positive cases in India. Delhi is number two in India and rushed towards number one. Delhi Government is concentrated more on governance in handling the virus and less on public health. Delhi is doing less in number of coronavirus tests. Even Supreme Court is anger on less number of tests. Delhi’s average tests are less than the Nation’s.

There are 4.5K cases registered on May 31st and the number of cases reached to 55K by June 20th. The cases increased rapidly in less than 3 weeks. Positivity rate in Delhi is 26.2 which are the highest in any other state in India. Delhi has 12 times per million mortality rate than the national average. Telangana is the lowest number of Tests per million in India. Positivity rate in Telangana is 25.9 which are the second highest in any other state in India. Union Government should look into Delhi and Telangana to control the virus otherwise either New Delhi and Hyderabad will turn to be New York of India.
