Now, the issue is Indian Army has named a military range in the name of Vidya Balan. She has achieved the feat after gaining the success of Sherni. A military firing range of the Indian Army is now named as Vidya Balan Firing Range in recognition of her phenomenal contribution to Indian Cinema. The Firing range is located at the ski resort of Gulmarg in Kashmir. People were disappointed and Indian Army faced remarks after they named the Firing Range on Vidya Balan. People on social media, however, are not happy over the matter and believe that the firing range could be named after someone more appropriate.
Major Manik M Jolly, has denied that the firing range has been named after the actress. Some people said there were many people who sacrificed their lives in Indian Army. Why not put their names for Firing Range? Comments and criticisms are viral in social media. People should remember the real heros whenever they visit the firing range but not reel heros. Actress hadn't made any comments after criticisms. But Indian Army's decision of naming the Firing Range has failed to convince.
