Political equations changed in Afghanistan after United States of America and NATO forces decided to leave the country. The Taliban welcomes the U.S. decision but people don't want U.S. forces to leave their country.
President Joe Biden has defended the decision and said that the solution for Afghanistan is not related to America. Joe follows the same path shown by former President Donald Trump on Afghan issue. People in Afghanistan feel that America made their nation an orphan. Islamic Organization Taliban claims that 85% of Afghanistan is under its control. As U.S. and NATO forces gradually pull out of the country, Taliban is extending its control.
Knowing the fear in advance, Afgahn people especially women rushed towards the streets. People are literally fear of Taliban governance and expecting that Taliban would impose hardline Islamist rule in Afghanistan. They took up arms against Taliban and raised slogans against Taliban in show of defiance. Women have their own arms in the northern and central part of Afghanistan and show their aggressiveness against Taliban. One of the biggest demonstrations was in central Ghor province, where hundreds of women turned out at the weekend, waving guns and chanting anti-Taliban slogans. They were reportedly willing to jump into battle against the terrorist group.
For conservative militants, facing women in battle can be humiliating. As per the traditional Islamic rules, women shouldn't be allowed to leave home and they are against restrictive dress code. Even women from conservative rural areas want freedom and want to be literate which will not be possible once Talibans take the charge. But Taliban militants claim that they have now controlled more than 400 districts in Afghanistan. The Talibans announced that China is their welcoming friend. Being a neighboring nation, India has plans to close it's consulate in Afghanistan. Amid the spiraling cycle of Taliban violence, the security situation in the country is difficult but he sees no immediate threat for Indian consulates to shut down.
