Hong Kong people fight for Democracy

When entire world fight against pandemic virus, what happened in Hong Kong is completely different. Hong Kong is burning for democracy.

People are fighting since July 01st against inception of National Security Law. The nation saw months of anti-government protests since 2019. People protest initially against proposed law which allowed extraditions to Mainland China. Police brutalities exceed certain level against pro-democratic people. On Sunday (September 06th), police suppression on people reached to its peak.

Hong Kong police have come under fire after footage of officers tackling a 12-year-old girl to the ground near a pro-democracy protest went viral. Hong Kong police have been strongly criticized over the rough arrest of a 12-year-old girl whose family says was caught in a protest crowd while out buying art supplies. Child’s mother says her daughter was buying art supplies when she was tackled and pinned to the ground by police. Police say the girl took part in an illegal gathering. Police said confirmed arrest of girl and said that she had run in a suspicious manner. Apart from the girl arrest, Nearly 300 people were arrested at Sunday's unauthorized demonstration.

Democratic campaigners should be in voting on Sunday in elections of Kowloon legislature. People were on the streets after the authorities delayed the poll for one year quoting pandemic virus as prime reason. Police fired pepper balls and pepper spray at demonstrators. The New Security Law imposed by China bans agitations. They the election postponement, after the government delayed the polls by a year citing the coronavirus outbreak. 12 year old girl arrest was shocked the entire world by group of police seems like arrest of hard-core terrorist.
