Every action
of China was suspicious and doubtful after Wuhan virus. Total number of
positive cases in China is 85K and number of deaths is around 4,500.
All major
nations have surpassed China both in number of cases and casualties. How China
contains the pandemic virus to Wuhan only? China is reportedly injecting
Covid-19 vaccines those are still under trial to thousands of its people. As
per World Health Organization (WHO), no vaccine company completed all it’s trials
of coronavirus vaccine.
China has
currently 11 vaccines in clinical trials and four in Phase 3 trials. Those
being injected are made to sign a “non-disclosure agreement” to ensure they don’t
discuss it with the media. Three vaccine candidates are being injected into workers
which the government feel are essential. Teachers, supermarket employees and
people travelling to risky areas would also be given unproven dose.
China plans
to give vaccinate to more number of people thereby risking more lives. But many
health experts are not sure about the effectiveness of unproved Chinese
vaccine. China defended that WHO supported their vaccine programme which
started in July. China has tightlipped on number of people who received
coronavirus vaccine. Chinese medical company Sinopharm said hundreds of
thousands of people are given its shots. 10K people in Beijing have been
injected with Sinovac’s vaccine.
