Trump’s first diplomatic reactions towards China


Hardly two months to go for U.S. President Elections. Donlad Trump is doing whatever he wants in election publicity. Earlier, he neglected pandemic virus and its impact on people. 

Trump was criticized pandemic virus as “Wuhan Virus”. Now, Trump has promised the vaccine will be available for the people from the end of October. It seems Donald Trump wants to utilize pandemic virus for his political interests. U.S. revokes visas for 1000 Chinese students claiming the ties to PLA. United States has defended the action based on May 29 Presidential proclamation.



Donald Trump announced on May 29 as part of the U.S. response to China's curbs on democracy in Hong Kong. The U.S. has revoked visas for more than 1K Chinese Nationals. US Department of Homeland Security head Chad Wolf said that Washington is blocking the visas of Chinese Students & researchers with ties of PLA. This is first diplomatic stoke against China after coronavirus outbreak. This action was taken after the May 29 Presidential Proclamation which deemed Chinese students and researchers as a security risk and hence ordered to stop them into U.S.

United States thought that it is a measure to prevent the Chinese from stealing & approaching sensitive research. US has accused China tried several attempts to steal Coronavirus research done by United States. China misused student’s visa for doing such. A State Department representative confirmed that more than 1,000 visas held by Chinese graduate students and research scholars have been revoked. Nearly 50 of them are including postgraduates and undergraduates whose visas cancelled by United States. Some 3,60,000 Chinese nationals study in the United States, bringing in significant revenue to U.S. colleges, although the COVID-19 pandemic has severely disrupted the return to campus this autumn semester.

Please check the photo. It was in 1994 after TDP regains power in AP. Bhuma Nagi Reddy and SV Subba Reddy (father of Shobha Nagi Reddy) were met NTR along with their families. Bhuma Nagi Reddy was elected first time to Assembly as TDP candidate from Allagadda in 1992 bye-election. Again he was elected as MLA from same constituency in 1994 as TDP candidate. In 1991, late NTR decided not to field TDP nominee opposite first Telugu Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao. In 1996, Chandra Babu Naidu (NTR was died) was selected Bhuma against them Prime Minister PV in Nandhyala. In 1991, PV majority was more than 5 lakhs but in 1996 his massive majority comes down below one lakh. It can only possible to Bhuma. PV retained Barampur in Orissa and resigned for Nandhyala. TDP was selected Bhuma as it's candidate in 1996 bye-election and Bhuma won over 4lakh majority against Gangula. Bhuma was elected again in 1998 and in 1999 bye-elections from Nandhyala.
