UP has controlled pandemic virus effectively under Yogi Leadership. Unlike Mulayam Singh Yadav and Mayawati era, Yogi Government is doing in different approach in development for the state. On other side of the coin law & order in the state is also matters for Yogi Government. Two rape cases in Uttar Pradesh spoiled his image at national level.
Unnao rape case in 2017 and Hathras rape in 2020 have damaged Yogi’s image and degrade BJP in India. BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Senagar was arrested and court sentenced life imprisonment to BJP MLA. The 19-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly raped by four upper-caste men in Hathras district in northern India. UP police did not hand over the body to the victim’s family despite them pleading to see her face last at once. Amid of huge outrage against the incident, UP Chief Minister has formed Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the matter. He also asked the trial to be conducted in a fast track court.
