China is facing pressure from all corners in recent past. On one side, China’s border disputes with India and trade war with United States are continuing.
China has territorial disputes with Taiwan and Tibet. Differences with Australia and Japan over South China Sea are increasing after coronavirus. One video went viral among social media where PLA soldiers crying in a bus while travelling to Ladakh. The soldiers for crying, interpreting it as a sign of fear against deployment at the border with India amid the ongoing tension in eastern Ladakh.
As per Chinese version, Taiwanese media seemed to mock the video to demoralize PLA soldiers. Leakage of the video is because of China and Taiwan media war. A bizarre war of words has broken out between mainland Chinese and Taiwanese media over a video of People’s Liberation Army (PLA) recruits being sent to the Sino-India border, with some of them appearing to be in tears. All most all of them seemed emotional, with some crying.
Taiwanese media like Taiwan News and Liberty Times are known for their anti-China stand. Chinese media cries foul at Taiwan take on PLA soldiers weeping. As per Taiwan News, Pakistani comedian Zaid Hamid has uploaded a video showing several PLA recruits crying on a bus as they are allegedly "transferred to Ladakh Border to face Indian Army." Hamid then wrote that China's one-child policy is "seriously hurting the motivation level of our Chinese brothers." The video was originally posted on WeChat page and it was deleted soon.
