To whom Indian-Americans vote?

There are many Indians living together in United States since last few years. As per 2018 stats, Indian American population at 4.16 million out of which 2.62 million were U.S. citizens. Indian-Americans will play vital role for the election of President of United States. Pennsylvania University and Carnegie Endowment for international Peace have jointly conducted survey on mood of Indians in America in next for next US elections.

They conducted the survey between the periods September 01st to September 20th. 72% of Indian NRIs prefer to Joe Biden and 22% tilted towards Donald Trump. Everyone assumes that friendly relationship of Donald Trump with Modi helps to for the victory of Trump for his second term. But the ground realty is different. Most of the Indian voters in US hesitate to vote for Trump. Indians have not convinced on Trump H-1B visa policy. Adding to that Democratic Vice President Nominee Kamala Harris candidature attracts many Indian voters towards Democrats.

The survey doesn’t get feel good factor to ruling BJP in India too. BJP Social Media wing made a campaign for the victory of Donald Trump. Leaders like Ram Madhav feel Trump’s victory is the necessity for India. BJP organized “Welcome Trump” programme in grand way to attract investments from US. Trump also made soft corner towards India in many issues like banning Chinese Apps and supporting India in border fight with China. Indian Americans can think differently.
