She made corona crisis as opportunity for her victory

Every crisis creates an opportunity. Some people used this effectively and others failed to do this. Jacinda Ardern name doesn’t get known to world before coronavirus. Many were heard her name during the pandemic virus. New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is the first leader of the nation who controlled the pandemic virus effectively in the country. Timely decisions and strict implementation of coronavirus guidelines made the New Zealand as first corona free nation in the world.

She has won second term as New Zealand’s Prime Minister. Ardern’s successful handling of the pandemic virus outbreak in New Zealand helped her secure a landslide victory. Her Liberal Labour Party has won 50% of total votes. It's the best showing for the Labour party in at least 50 years. Ardern had taken immediate measures to contain the outbreak. Liberal Labour Party had won 64 of 120 seats of New Zealand Parliament. LLP’s majority in Parliament emerges as single largest party to form the government in decades.

Ardern was praised for New Zealand's response to the coronavirus pandemic, and after she implemented strict lockdown measures in March, officials in June announced that the country officially had zero known cases of COVID-19.  The country has reported only 25 coronavirus deaths and confirmed around 2K positive cases. She said after getting victory winning second term is an endorsement of her government’s efforts to stamp out the coronavirus and reboot the economy.
