Pandemic havoc continues in US

United States of America seems to be fall in deep trouble. Both political uncertainty and medical urgency pushed US into troubles. Coronavirus rampage is still continuing in the country. New records have created every day either in new positive cases or in deaths.

Nearly 2 lakh new Corona cases have reported in a single day in the US.  Highest number of deaths recorded in one day since May in US.  The country is desperately need emergency medicine to protect people from covid-19.

Pfizer is the first drug maker to file for FDA emergency use authorization of its covid-19 vaccine BNT162b2. It took Pfizer 248 days from the day after declared their plans to work with BioNtech to submit their request to FDA. Pfizer and BioNtech said the vaccine could possibly be made available in US by the end of December. Both were reported earlier that their vaccine would give 95% effective in final trials with no safety concerns. Pfizer expects to have 50 million vaccine doses ready which protect 25 million people.

US biotech firm Moderna also declared 95% effective against coronavirus patient. Second wave was hit many nations harder than the first wave. US have recorded 10 million cases and 250K deaths due to coronavirus. President Trump claimed the U.S. would not have a coronavirus vaccine on the way had he not been in the Oval Office to oversee its development. The president reasoned that the Food and Drug Administration would have never been able to do what he required them to do to speed up the process.
