facing severe second wave of coronavirus pandemic since end of the March.
Record number of cases and casualties reported on daily basis during the second
wave. Delhi followed by Maharashtra is worst affected states initially in
second wave and they have been in control now.
Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH) rebutted claims of a "Singapore variant" of the coronavirus and condemned Delhi Chief Minister remarks on new variant in Singapore are baseless. Singapore’s Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan objected to the Delhi Chief Minister’s claim that a highly infectious variant of COVID-19. Followed by Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar declared that Delhi Chief Minister does not speak for India. BJP has very much angry at Kejriwal. He stopped Prime Minister Modi during the Chief Minister’s review conference on coronavirus. Modi objects Kejriwal and suggested him to follow protocol. Keeping that in mind, BJP lashed out Kejriwal remarks on Singapore variant.
Everyone knows that coronavirus eruption occurs in Wuhan in China even though later not agreed. World Health Organization (WHO) was also confirmed that Wuhan in China was the epicenter for pandemic. Second wave was erupted in Kent in England and South Africa in December’20. People used to call Kent variant is the reason for second wave to spread across the world. B.1.617, also known as G/452R.V3, is one of the known variants of SARS-CoV-2. It is further also called as Indian variant which is used in many countries in their news reporting. Nothing wrong and find fault when calling the variant name with the country. It is just diverting the issue.
