China made mockery on Indian situation

Relations between India and China were severe after the eruption of pandemic virus in Wuhan. They deteriorated further since June 2020 where China’s PLA killed 20 BSF security men at Ladakh. Followed by Chinese Apps ban and boycott Chinese products widen the differences between two nations.

China successfully controlled the virus and no reports of a second wave in the country. Now India is facing the worst ever situation in the second wave of the coronavirus and the nation requests many developed nations for medical help.

Chinese social media Weibo post causes the latest controversy that mocks coronavirus outrage in India. The post is comparing China’s space launching fires with India’s fires after igniting dead bodies and the post was linked to Chinese Communist Party. The post was captioned “Fire in China Vs Fire in India”. The Weibo post has been deleted after getting backlash on Chinese social media. This is not the first time that China mocked India’s crisis. Chinese Ministry of Public Security made a similar comparison of a hospital in Wuhan with a graveyard in India.

Chinese government is doing damage control after the post by sending medical aid to India. It is ridiculous to compare space launches fires with dead body burning pyres. Chinese Foreign Ministry is completely silent on the post. China celebrates when India is suffering with a number of cases daily. Chinese authorities have removed a controversial social media post from an official Communist Party account comparing the exhaust of a Chinese space shuttle to the flames of India's thousands of funeral pyres. Thousands of Weibo users criticized the "inappropriate" post and it was deleted after about five hours.
