Australia is somewhat followed different approaches to control the virus. As per latest records, the country has recorded 9K positive cases with 176 causalities due to coronavirus. Of Course! The island nation has less number of populations of around 2.5 crores which we haven’t compared with other large populated nations like India, Russia and US.
But the government took some stringent decisions and early
predictions on surge of the virus that made possible the virus in control.
1. Decided to impose early lockdown when other
nations not assessing the situation on the virus. Phase-wise unlock
implementation in the country.

Stopping of all Non-Essential services.
3.
Salaries credited to those who lost the jobs
because of lockdown every month.
4.
Shutdown the nation borders and inter-state as well
with immediate effect.
5.
Strict punishment to those who violate the
lockdown guidelines.
6.
Doing more tests to the people with free of
cost.
7.
Mobilizing the health workers in the hospitals. Segregating
the regular patients to Covid-19’s.
8.
Doing regular sanitization in public places.
9.
PM and State CMs conducted chatting with the
people regularly that gave confidence to them.
10.
Opposition extended their helping hand to ruling
parties.
11.
Providing all facilities to frontline workers in
fighting with the virus.
Despite the size of the population, governments should
implement the above guidelines. Commitment is matters here. Though the revenue
of Australia and New Zealand relay on tourism, governments haven’t dared to
unlock hurriedly. But many states in India rushed to open wine shops even they
suffered with peak. The authorities have locked down 300,000 people in areas
around Melbourne heavily populated by immigrants.
