First corona case in North Korea when World touches peak

Everyone has relay on worldometers.info website for latest pandemic virus stats. The website has maintained daily details of coronavirus of around 210 nations in the world. 

North Korea is not appeared in the list. The country has surrounded with Russia, South Korea and China. Russia is 3rd highest number of cases of 8 lacs, China with 80K positive cases and South Korea with 15K cases. Yesterday, North Korea gets first case officially acknowledged by North Korean authorities, who have said the country has no confirmed cases of coronavirus so far.

When North Korean neighbours suffer with Covid-19 how the nation hadn’t affected with virus. This is million dollars question to entire world. The nation has not developed like South Korea and there were no healthcare facilities to counter the virus. Indian government extends medical assistance worth of $1 million to Pyongyang. Initially, there were rumors that North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un strictly implemented guidelines to counter the virus and reportedly he ordered to kill the patients for controlling the virus,

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un convened an emergency politburo meeting after a person suspected of having Covid-19 returned from South Korea after illegally crossing the border, state media said on Sunday. The affected person came from South Korea to Kaesong city. North Korean officials said that severe punishment to those who cross the border. North Korea completely closed its borders in January, and imposed a tough lockdown. Earlier this month, Kim said the country will keep its borders closed “for the foreseeable future”. North Korea declared locks down in Kaesong over suspected virus cases.
