China’s marketing vaccine diplomacy

When India has implemented its vaccine diplomacy globally for maintaining good relations with all nations in the world, China’s vaccine diplomacy is completely different to India’s. China is marketing for “Made in China” vaccines with foreign tourists. 

China’s name echoed in the world with “Wuhan Virus” but Chinese vaccine didn’t get much popularity. China wants to sold out it’s vaccines at any cost. China has changed the visa rules to sell the coronavirus vaccines. China tries to promote the use of its own vaccines to foreigners who wants to step into China.

Traveling China is now easy to foreigners but it can possible only they inoculated with “Made in China” coronavirus vaccines. Officials said China made simplify visa applications for those who take Chinese vaccine jabs. Those who took Chinese made jab will face less draft work requirements if they intended to enter China. This rule is come into effect from March 15^th and applies to people to travelling to China for business or for personal visit. The reason behind the sudden change in visa rule is that China’s vaccines are not approved in many of the countries. Lack of clinical trial data of the Chinese made vaccines appears to no confidence among others to take Chinese vaccine.

Made-in-China vaccines have not approved by many countries especially from West. China allowed travel but it will not accept foreign vaccines even they approved by World Health Organization. New changed rule will apply to Indians as well but no Chinese made vaccines are available in India. The latest move has come a day after the leaders of QUAD nations plan to distribute the vaccines in Asia. Four countries QUAD bloc has promised to finance the production of billion vaccine doses in India by the end of 2022. QUAD meeting is aimed to counter Chinese vaccine diplomacy.
