Genocide against Uighur community is no more internal issue of the China. Chinese President Xi Jinping has not tolerated if anyone questions and raises atrocities against Uighur Muslim community in Xinjiang province.
China is trying hard to defend it’s actions on Uighur people and said that government is giving training to improve the skills for employment in Xinjiang. At least one million Uighurs and people from other mostly Muslim groups have been held in camps in China’s Xinjiang region. China announced new sanctions against US and Canadian officials for criticizing it’s policies in Muslim community region of Xinjiang.
China is accused of imposing forced labour and forceful birth control measures of these groups. China has imposed sanctions on 10 UK MPs for spreading lies and disinformation about the country. It appears as China’s retaliation for measures taken by UK over human rights abuses against the Uighur. China has strongly rejected accusations of human rights abuses in Xinjiang. China is also called boycott of foreign brands for spreading wrong information. Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) have many stores in several parts of China are being forced to close.
H&M products were dropped from Chinese websites over their opposition to buying cotton from Xinjiang. U.S. based Nike Inc.’s shares sank as investors took fright at the potential impact on its Chinese business. Washington says Beijing’s tit-for-tat sanctions will only focus attention on its ‘genocide’ against Uighurs. Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, denounced Beijing and vowed to defend human rights. UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson expressed his solidarity on sanctions of UK’s MPs. The EU, Britain, Canada and U.S. have sanctioned several members of Xinjiang’s political and economic hierarchy.
