It’s almost more than 100 days completed for Farmers agitation in New Delhi against governments new proposed farm bills. Farmers relay on sole demand to nullify the new bills because of no assurance on Minimum Standard Price (MSP) for their crops.
Discussions between farmers and govt have not successful even after 5 times. Farmers have planned to seize Indian Parliament where the budget sessions are going on. It is obvious that the agitation get attention to International media.
Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of
Canada has responded on farmers protest first time and Indian government gave
strong retard to Canadian Prime Minister. Followed by Robyn Rihanna and Greta
Thungerg tweeted on farmer’s agitation and extended their support. Indian
celebrities did mass attack on two and promoted the feeling that foreigners
involved in Indian affairs in Social Media. Two times Indian government
successfully did counter attack on pro-supporters of farmer’s agitation. Now,
United Kingdom debates the critical issue in their parliament in the name of
human rights.
British Councilor Gurch Singh has launched the debate via online petition. He consolidated the support for farmers protest over one lakh signatures through online petition. The debate takes place in house of commons on March 08th. As many as 36 British MPs have signed in support to the petition. Two MPs have spoken in support of Indian government. The debate is only on safety of the protestors and press but not on farm bills. Indian government condemns UK parliament debate on farmers protest and said that it is one sided. It is very difficult to the government to cover the agitation every time unless the issue will be sorted out peacefully.
