India has recorded more than 1 lakh coronavirus positive cases for the fourth consecutive day. 145,384 cases reported since 24 hours in India which is the highest since start of the pandemic. One difference is clearly observed for first and second wave of pandemic virus in India.
Second wave of coronavirus hits children in India. More than 500 children have been infected by the coronavirus in a week in Rajkot. 13 year old boy has died because of covod-19 in Surat. These two incidents prove medical experts opinion on coronavirus is doubtful.
Earlier, they have opined that virus hits aged people who have less immunity when compared to children and youth. Even they get infected they are likely to be asymptomatic or have mild symptoms. It is suspected that second wave of coronavirus is being driven by young people. But there is no official data to prove the claim. In February and March, state governments in the country gave orders to open schools and colleges that turn as coronavirus clusters. Around 6K students of Manipal Institute of Technology were found positive in campus after cases were detected. MIT is declared as a containment zone.
In Telangana, around 100 students from seven different schools infected with coronavirus in March. 53 people including doctors, medical students and health care workers have been found positive and admitted at AIIMS in Bhopal. In Maharashtra, 230 students were detected with coronavirus in single hostel. In Delhi and Jharkhand, all schools and colleges have been shut till further notice. As per doctors, it could severely impact children suffering from the rare disease Multi-system inflammatory syndrome. One year old babies and children with adolescents with obesity are most vulnerable group in children. Those vaccines are available in the country not suitable to children because those are developed for adults.
