If
you look at the situation at the hospitals, it is clear whether medical
facilities are available to the common man in India. If millions of people were
infected with the corona during the second wave, national media has a
responsibility to explain what actions governments have taken, even
temporarily. But they put a big platform on the statements made by the
government leaders. But do not try to reveal in front of the public how much is
being implemented at the field level. The same is happening from Delhi to the
State governments. No media is even telling the truth. In other words ignoring
the hardships of the people, Indian media has engaged in praising the rulers. The
government is also lying about corona deaths. The average daily death toll in
India is twenty-eight thousand.
Now
the center says it has become two and a half thousand more because of pandemic.
But the situation looks different no matter where you go to the cemetery in the
country. The media, which was supposed to keep misguided rulers at bay, is now
floating around worshiping the rulers. The media does not see the deaths of the
people. The Indian media is no longer on the side of the people. Internationally,
the situation in many countries is tougher than in India, but the media there
is not so badly biased. It is different in India. Media failed to put the truth
in front of people. Some people are making a strange argument that it cannot be
more intimidating. It is an illusion to think that the media will be on the
side of the people anymore.
