Second wave of pandemic virus soars across the world. When India has reported highest number of positive cases regularly, Brazil’s number of fatalities is climbing well beyond an average of 3K per day. Brazil’s brutal surge in coronavirus deaths might surpass the worst record of January wave in United States of America.
Brazil is second highest in coronavirus fatalities after USA in the world. Both India and USA have reported daily one third of total Brazil’s deaths. Increase in number of fatalities cause worrisome to Brazil. On April 08th, Brazil set a daily record of 4K pandemic virus deaths.
A new variant virus was largely blamed
for sudden rise in cases in Brazil. Like in other countries, people in Brazil
still insist on crowding and going to illegal parties. Pandemic virus surge is
putting a huge strain on the Brazil’s public health system. Hospitals and
intensive care units in capital Rio de Janeiro have reached full capacity.
Brazil’s health care system have limited support and to relay on a local health
initiative.
But with Brazil’s healthcare system at
the breaking point, the country could also exceed total U.S. deaths, despite
having two-thirds the population. Right-wing President Jair Bolsonaro has
pushed back against mask-wearing and lockdowns that public health experts
consider necessary. The country dragged its feet last year as the world raced
to secure vaccines, slowing the launch of a national immunization program. A widespread
U.S. vaccination campaign is rapidly curtailing what has been the world’s
deadliest outbreak. Vaccination is slow in Brazil.
