India gets unexpected friend amid of rampage

US top infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony S. Fauci statement on pandemic virus rampage in India is not expected one. When global and English media exposed Narendra Modi for the surge of the second wave in India, Dr. Fauci blamed the rest of the world for the destruction in India.

Dr. Fauci gets highlighted in 2020 after the coronavirus entered the United States. He suggested then US President Donald Trump on controlling the virus but later ignored it. Dr. Fauci predicted 200K deaths there in America when the actual number was 2K in March 2020.

The U.S. top health advisor said that the world failed India in fighting against coronavirus. He criticized developed nations for not helping India when it really needed it. Dr. Fauci lambasts wealthy countries for failing to provide equitable access to coronavirus vaccines. White House’s chief medical adviser has said wealthy countries have failed to unite to provide an adequate global response to prevent the “tragic” coronavirus outbreak from overwhelming India. He felt that the situation in India highlighted global inequality.

Dr. Fauci also made positive comments on Indian made vaccine Covaxin. As per his words, Covaxin was found to neutralize double mutants. He said that Covaxin can neutralize the B.1.617 variant of the coronavirus and believed that quick vaccination controls the surge in India. Fauci said that India's home-grown Covaxin has been found to neutralize the '617' variant of the deadly virus. His two statements gave a great sigh of relief to Indian government amid all odds.
