South Korea controlled the pandemic virus effectively since it’s eruption in China. Timely and appropriate decisions helped the virus in control in the country.
WHO asked other nations to follow South Korea how it checks coronavirus. South Korea has 15K positive cases with 305 causalities. It hasn’t seen biggest surge in coronavirus positive cases since March. One church congregation on August 16th has changed the situation in South Korea. There are nearly 300 positive cases reported on August 16th which linked to the Sarang Jeil Church in Seoul is the country`s biggest in nearly six months and led to a tightening of social distancing rules.

That forced the officials in South Korea warned the people and decided to implement tighter novel coronavirus restrictions as new outbreaks appeared. South Korea has been one of the world`s coronavirus mitigation success stories but it has nevertheless battled persistent spikes in infections on August 16th. Most of the cases were found and reported from Seoul metropolitan city. A cluster of infections has been linked to the Sarang Jeil Church led by Jun Kwang-hoon. The pastor had encouraged his followers to join an anti-government protest the previous day.
The church
is led by a conservative activist, Reverend Jun Kwang-hoon, who has also been organizing
anti-government rallies calling for the ouster of liberal President Moon
Jae-in, raising worry that the virus has been spreading at his protests too.
Authorities accused Jun of violating self-isolation guidelines and obstructing
contact tracing. In response to sudden surge in cases, the government is
tightening social-distancing rules in Seoul. High-risk facilities such as night
clubs, bars and gyms are being told to close. President Moon Jae-in has vowed
to crack down on the Sarang Jeil Church for flouting preventive measures.
