China is always in news in recent past for wrong reasons. After Wuhan virus, China went aggressive with neighbor nations like India, Russia on land disputes followed by heavy floods which causes to scarcity of food.
Earlier, China was destroyed and destroying the Uighur’s mosques and constructed public toilets & bars in their place. China is continuing its war against other religions like Buddhism and Christianity. The main aim of Chinese Communist Party is to pushes to assert communist ideology. Buddhist temples have been closed or demolished in China.
Demolition of Buddhist statues are going on China. Reportedly, more than 800 statues of Buddha fall down in China. Destruction of giant Guan Yin statue has drawn international condemnation. Government took all precautions not to disclose the demolished photos in Social Media. In Malaysia, Buddhist associations protest against the demolition. Buddhists in China is fear of religious heritage. They come under pressure from the government since they started protesting against destruction of Buddhist site on the outskirts of the city.
Chinese Communist Party distorts religious teachings by forcing churches, temples, and mosques to preach according to the government-prescribed scripture. Books of Buddhist leaders from China and Taiwan have been banned and destroyed. Buddhists have long history in China. Religious persecution in China has not been limited to folk religions, however. All religious communities, including those of major faiths like Christianity and Islam, have been threatened.
