Are Europeans against to pandemic restrictions?

European nations are immediate worst affected with pandemic virus soon after China. Italy, Spain, UK and Germany suffered of coronavirus before it went to United States.

We heard some success stories about Germany in controlling the virus 5 months back. It seems everything is reversed on coronavirus. Both Spain and Germany record highest daily coronavirus infection rate since April as causes surge across the Europe since two days. Germany is having 242K cases where as Spain with 455K positive cases. That forced two governments to re-impose strict restrictions on people.

People from two nations protest government conditions and demand for freedom. Surprisingly! They protect on streets in Berlin and Madrid against coronavirus restrictions. People shouted for freedom during their protests. Many didn’t wear masks even though it is legally required. Almost 30K people have died from the coronavirus in Spain. German police Saturday halted a march by some 18,000 coronavirus skeptics in Berlin because many were not respecting social distancing measures. The mass protest against pandemic restrictions had been allowed to go ahead after a bitter legal battle.

The demonstrators shouted “Resistance” and “We are the people,” a slogan and sang the German national anthem. The protesters waved German flags and shouted “Merkel must go!” a chant often used in the rally. Merkel and the leaders of Germany’s 16 federal states introduced tougher coronavirus restrictions to curb the pandemic, including a minimum 50 euro ($59) fine for people caught not wearing face masks where one is compulsory. Germany has got global recognition in handling the virus but all citizens agree. Some people showed the placards like “Media as virus” and “Wearing the masks reduces Immunity”. Several countries around the world have seen protests against coronavirus restrictions and lockdown measures in recent months. World Health Organization (WHO) is worried these protests happens every country in Europe, spike in cases is inevitable.
