“I have a dream” is an iconic public speech by Martic Luther King Jr. delivered on August 28th 1963 for equality in civil rights. King addressed thousands of civil right supporters from the steps of Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. His speech turned as huge civil rights movement in American History. Historians have remembered one of the best speeches of 20th century. Taking inspiration from Luther King, thousands of protesters gathered Friday at same Lincoln Memorial to call for overall criminal justice restructuring and racial equality. The anti-racism demonstration against police brutality in United States reached to peak.

The families
of black Americans shot or killed by police spoke at the same site where Martin
Luther King Jr delivered his I Have a Dream speech. Sister of George Floyd and
Father of Jacob Blake called “We’re going to stand up”. Son and granddaughter
of Martin Luther King also participated and address the rally. Attendees lined along
Constitution Avenue as early as 7am in anticipation of the march. Protestors
shouted “Black Lives Matter” and “I can’t breathe” slogans on the streets.
Democrats used the protest for political interests. Democratic
vice-presidential nominee Senator Kamala Harris addressed the rally virtually.
Democrats
used Kamala Harris instead of Joe Biden in the rally. Joe was made his speeches
against Black Community. President Donald Trump starts his campaign from New
Hampshire. The president scorned the recent protests over police brutality and
white supremacy that have swept the country, trying to write them off as the
work of “agitators”. The world-altering circumstances of the coronavirus
pandemic have also altered the world of Trump's campaign. Trump has continued
his negligence on coronavirus. He flouts COVID-19 safety guidelines at New
Hampshire rally.
