100 DAYS NO CORONA CASE

When world is burning and suffering with pandemic virus, there are three nations where coronavirus failed to show its impact. Fiji, Vietnam and New Zealand made their impact in fighting with coronavirus.

Of Course! Three nations have smaller population. But the steps they took to counter pandemic virus are very much effective that bring results. Fiji has just 27 cases with 1 casualty, Vietnam has reported 812 cases with 10 deaths and New Zealand has 1569 with 22 deaths.

By today (August 09^th), New Zealand marked 100 days without community transmission of Covid-19. From the first known case imported into New Zealand on February 26 to the last case of community transmission detected on May 1, elimination took 65 days. The nation relay on three actions to implement to counter coronavirus. The government has successfully implemented three T formula like Testing, Tracing and Treating.

Most of the nations revealed the guidelines to people but later ignored the guidelines. But New Zealand was strictly implemented lock down and social distancing guidelines in the nation. People also follow as per government rules. Collectively, these measures have achieved low case numbers and deaths compared with high-income countries in Europe and North America that pursued a suppression strategy. Tourism is main revenue generation to the nation. New Zealand is continued to put the border controls to stop Covid-19 from entering the country. Yes!
