Galwan valley… Dongfeng in China

If we fill the dots between two, we will get clear picture. Galwan valley standoff still haunts China in different ways.

Nearly, two months back Chinese PLA clash with Indian army in eastern Ladakh. Indian army was declared 20 causalities where as China PLA was maintain silent on number of deaths at their end. Rumors spread and American Intelligence confirmed PLA’s casualties are more than Indian Army’s.

Chinese people also not convinced with Chinese Government’s attitude after Galwan valley. The repercussions of Galwan valley standoff are not leaving China. Netizen in China called Zhou Liying was posted video in web chat and mentioned the reason for PLA soldiers’ death. A video recently went viral, when tensions between India and China were high at the border, where Indian soldiers were seen hitting the windows, smashing a Chinese Dongfeng named Humvee. Dongfeng is complete Chinese company. Sub-standard quality of military vehicles made in China is clearly visible in the video.

In his social media post, he wrote that the military vehicles supplied by a company named Dongfeng to the Chinese Army were of poor quality and due to this corruption of the company. The post was published on August 04^th. He was arrested by police after receiving the complaint from Dongfeng officials. Chinese police took a letter from him and forced him to apologize. China was suppressed one voice but many have similar opinion on Dongfeng. Chinese Government hardly tried to dispel rumors on vehicle manufacturing company Dongfeng.
