One Lakh Green Cards are at risk?

The green card is to allow permanent residence in the superpower America. Many foreigners in the United States of America have been waiting for years for this to happen. The vast majority of green card competitors are Indian IT professionals.

However, with the issuance of the Green Card on the basis of the American Immigration System CountryCap (Countrywide Quota), it is becoming more and more attractive to a large number of Indians in the superpower. The latest news regarding this important green card is now making the optimists blind. The current pace of processing by US Citizenship and Immigration Services or USCIS suggests they will waste more than 100K Green Cards.

The news was confirmed by the Department of State officer in charge of determining visa usage. The reason for this seems to be the sluggish continuing work in US immigration. The pandemic has further damaged USCIS (US Citizenship and Immigration Services), which is facing a funding crisis. The virus is reported to have slowed down performance as well as staff shortages. As a result, the issuance of green cards is further delayed. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services looks after legal immigration affairs in the superpower. The company started its annual operations with a target of issuing 20,000 Green cards in October 2020 for the financial year 2020-21. This year's work will be completed by this September.

Number of green cards issued by then will be considered completed within this year's quota. Everything else seems to be in vain. However, there are no exact figures on how many green cards have been issued so far. Charlie said about a million green cards are still pending by the end of this September. That is, if they are not issued by the end of September, they will be wasted. If the green card opportunity comes this time, we will have to wait for another five years. A group of 125 Indian and Chinese nationals living in the US filed a lawsuit to prevent the administration from wasting the Green Cards.
