Developed United States of America is once again trapped in the coronavirus pandemic in the form of the Delta variant. There is a huge shortage of ICU beds in some places of the country. Situation seems to be out of control in places like Texas where very few ICU beds are available for the patients.
Medical officials made a statement on the severity of coronavirus in Austin which is in Texas. Beds in hospitals are fully occupied in the city. Delta claw throws across America. There were more than one lakh cases reported on average in the country. John Hopkins University predicts the repeat of winter surge in the U.S.
After a few months lull in the country, the vaccination process sped-up in the United States of America. There were a huge number of deaths in the U.S. when compared to the previous month. Delta variant was first found in the U.S. in April and May with few number cases but now it reaches over 96% of prevalence. Most people who get coronavirus infections after being fully vaccinated have mild to moderate symptoms, and generally have been thought to avoid hospitalizations. As per Dr. Anthony Fauci there are still 100 million people not yet vaccinated even after the first jab of the vaccine. The country has reported more than 500 coronavirus deaths per day.
As a lagging indicator, deaths have begun to increase significantly as well, and that growth is accelerating in a number of states with particularly explosive outbreaks. Canada opened the border for US visitors today after March 2020. The United States will remain on the sidelines for now as Canada gamely welcomes back fully vaccinated American citizens and permanent residents. Many corporate companies introduced vaccination mandatory policies to protect the employees. More than a dozen giant U.S. companies, together with Walmart, Google, Tyson Meals and United Airways, have not too long ago introduced vaccine mandates for some or all of their employees.
