U.S. three decisions hit China severely

Since the eruption of the Wuhan virus in 2019, the relations between the United States of America and China have deteriorated further. Former President Donald Trump has blamed China for the spreading of the Wuhan virus and the newly elected President Joe Biden has continued the same attack against China. 

Three significant moves taken by the Biden administration against China will damage the relations further between two nations. The United States of America is going to be involved in three issues like Wuhan lab, Taiwan and Hong Kong which China doesn’t like.


As per buzz, United States Intelligence agencies have gained access to a treasure trove of genetic data that could be prominent in uncovering the origins of the coronavirus. The investigation is part of a much wider push to study the coronavirus’s origins. With this data, they can find the origins of coronavirus pandemic. China feels that Hong Kong is an integral part of its territory. In 2019, Hong Kong protests against National Security Law that causes irritation to China. Now, the Biden administration has announced it is going to provide temporary safe heaven for Hong Kong residents on U.S. soil. America strongly believed that Hong Kong's freedom was being violated by China, the US would allow visitors to stay for a period of 18 months.


Many Hong Kong residents already in the US may benefit and they avoid being deported. Reacting to this, China said that the decision was gross interference in Hong Kong’s internal affairs. The Biden administration has approved its first arms sales to Taiwan to help the democratic island nation. It facilitates Taiwan to modernize its defenses against growing Chinese threats. The arms proposal is worth $750 million which includes the sale of 40 self-propelled howitzers, 20 field Artillery vehicles and 5 heavy arms carried vehicles. These weapons will be manufactured by BAE systems.
