People protest against health pass in France

When the world is afraid of different variants, France in Europe is facing people's anger.  People protest against the pass that will be needed to enter restaurants and other places.

Anti-pass marches were being held in scattered cities across France, and four separate protests were held in Paris, the third weekend of anti-health pass protests. Government should make mandatory coronavirus passes to the people effective from August 09th. Coronavirus health passes come into effect in France amid a surge in new infections. It requires proof of vaccination, a negative quick test result or recent recovery from pandemic. Police fired tear gas and water cannons at protesters.

Government has believed that pass help to check the increase in cases with Delta variant. People have strongly believed that mandatory pass would destroy their freedom. After August 09th Visitors will require France's Digital Health pass even to climb the Eiffel Tower. French people rushed towards the streets calling the new mandate for health dictatorship. Interesting that the majority of the people have supported the health pass and few are being opposed. French government has inoculated vaccination for over 50% of the population though there is widespread hesitancy. France has recorded a 150% surge in cases within a week.

More than 111,800 people have died of the virus in France since the start of the pandemic. The World Health Organization (WHO) has stated that almost 4 million cases were reported worldwide last week and cautious the nations to take necessary steps for not spreading the virus. But anti-lockdown protests are seeing in several nations as cases surge. Sydney witnessed a huge gathering of protests last week against the lockdown restrictions in the country. Thousands of people had thronged the streets in Melbourne to oppose lockdown measures.  Germany, Italy and Greece also witnessed anti-lockdown protesters hitting the streets, sparking clashes with police.
