UAE gives nod to Chinese made coronavirus vaccine


Countries are looking for best vaccine across the world after suffering with pandemic virus since 9 months. Everyone has with different opinion in selecting the vaccine. 

UK is the first nation start Pfizer vaccine distribution two days back. Three candidates have applied for emergence use of authorization in India including Pfizer, Bharat Biotech and SII. Canadian government has approved a vaccine made by Pfizer-BioNtech and is gearing up for vaccination programme in next week. UAE has approved for Chinese vaccine Sinopharm in their country.



UAE decision was surprised and shocked many nations. World blame China for the outbreak of “Wuhan Virus” but UAE backed Chinese vaccine saying it gives 86% effective results in protecting against Cpvid-19. 86% efficacy is just behind the rates reported by front-runners Pfizer and Moderna, who say their jabs stop 94% and 95% of COVID-19 infections, respectively. The UAE has now officially registered the vaccine for public use, according to the report, and will begin widespread distribution to its population this week. 31K volunteers from 125 countries have involved in trials of the vaccine developed by Sinopharm. 


UAE officials feel no serious safety concerns needed after seeing the interim results of the trials. Chinese Sinopharm trials have conducted in UAE also along with other nations. Sinopharm has not shared data of it’s trials which are being conducted in 10 nations including UAE. Morocco, North American nation also approved Sinopharm jabs for the vaccination. It is preparing to vaccinate 80% of all adults in the country. In China, three vaccines are cleared for emergency use made by Sinopharm and Sinovac. These injections are already given to over 1 million people.
